Oct. 20, 2008 — CH2M HILL has been named to the 10th annual list of Canada’s Top 100 Employers.
The prestigious Top 100 Employers competition is organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc. and covered by Maclean’s magazine, the most widely read weekly publication in Canada. Employers were evaluated against eight criteria: physical workplace; work atmosphere; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement. Employers are compared to others in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
"We seek to win the race for talent by promoting safety, diversity and values, challenging projects, professional development, and a strong culture of personal respect," says Bruce Tucker, president of CH2M HILL Canada.
In addition, The Financial Post named CH2M HILL one of its “Ten Best Companies to Work For in Canada.” In its Oct. 22 issue, the FP cites CH2M HILL as one of “the cream of Canada’s employers” for 2009. FP’s Ten Best Companies list is restricted to private-sector companies that are drawn from Mediacorp Canada's Top 100 Employers list.
This is the first year for CH2M HILL to be recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers as well as making the FP Top 10.
