Modeling good corporate citizenship and social responsibility

When CH2M HILL OMI was founded in 1980, our basic job was to help protect and manage one of the world’s most precious resources: water. Our people, processes and expertise were focused on operating and maintaining public water and wastewater systems that protect public health and our natural environment.

That day-to-day, round-the-clock commitment to environmental service and stewardship has only grown over the years. Today, our services encompass additional work like managing industrial utilities, providing “people power” for environmental remediation projects, and responsibly running all of the services that a municipality might need, like public works and community development departments, administrative services and park systems.

Though environmental stewardship has formed the core of our corporate responsibility efforts, what we call “corporate citizenship,” has grown as well. We recognize that true citizenship and sustainability also means actions like:
